Let’s welcome Camila Chicon (Afriky) from Waiheke Island and Sidharth Pagad (KrakotoKra) from Waiuku to Whangarei for a West-African style Dance and Drum workshop, hosted by Mariska moves. How wonderful would it be to experience something new: African dance with live drumming and the chance to learn to drum yourself.
The day will look like this:
10am Arrival
10.10am Opening circle, focus and intent, warm up with Mariska
10.30am African Dance with Camila
12pm Lunch break (including healthy snacks)
1pm Drumming with Sidharth
2.45pm Dance/drum combo
3.10pm Relaxing, stretching/meditation with Camila
3.35pm Closing circle, body gratitude, stepping out with Mariska
4pm Finish
Drums will be provided.
Healthy snacks and refreshment are included.
