SUNDAY 25TH JULY
2-5PM
ONEONESIX

A strong hero image – the image that best represents your show, its energy, its ideas – is an utterly vital tool for publicity. This workshop supports artists to develop concept ideas for a strong hero image to successfully promote their work.

Visual artists/photographers Lisa Clunie and Ellie Smith will share their extensive knowledge of creating strong images and helping creatives develop ideas. After their presentation, in-depth discussions will help artists focus on their specific works and what imagery will best help their event/art stand out. Artists are encouraged to use the group’s collective knowledge to expand their ideas.

Come along, join the discussion and enjoy a warm bowl of soup (koha) to help ideas flow. Please register your interest if you want to attend and we will contact you with what to bring. After this workshop, Fringe-registered artists will have the opportunity to access studio and editing time with either Ellie or Lisa to help bring their idea to fruition. This initiative is supported by the Creative Communities Scheme through Whangarei District Council, NorthTec and ONEONESIX.
