Leah Land & Friends at ONEONESIX

Leah hails from the Far North of Aotearoa, where her musical journey began around the campfire and at the marae in Hokianga. Also immersed in the sounds of ngāhere and ocean, Leah has emerged as a folk singer and songwriter, collecting songs that resonate deeply with themes of environmental care , social justice and storytelling. A collection of whānau and friends will be joining Leah to share in the joy of music.

This is also an evening to celebrate Leah’s journey here at ONEONESIX as an intern under the New Zealand Music Commission, where she has shared her skills and learnt new ones with our community.
