Neimar is 8 years old, lives in a small town and is looking forward to his first communion, since his grandmother has assured him that on that day, he will meet God. His quiet life encompasses taking care of racehorses, which he loves; hanging out at crossroads asking for money and helping his mum sell tamales on the weekends with his best friend, Demi. All this serenity in Neimar’s life suddenly disappears. His existence becomes filled with disappointment, leading him to look with new eyes on his environment, leaving his innocence behind. Rated 16
